  Come into a world that pays tribute to America's history. Here, the people who helped build our country are celebrated, and the land they helped tame is seen here. This area sits on the Rivers of America, which it shares with Harbor Square. Guests walk through the gates of a log fort and enter into the first of three areas. This is an Old West-themed area in the ghost town of Thunder Springs. Here, they find Western Wares on the right and The Silver Horseshoe on the left. Between them is a small geyser that sprays guests on hot days. Further down the left side is the Thunder Springs Merchandise Building and El Fuego Ranch, a shop and a restaurant, as well as the Frontierland Shootin' Gallery . On the right side is the Cowboy Corner Store and the Big Thunder Barbecue. Located nearby is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the wildest ride in the wilderness. Located in the southern portion of the land is a colonial-era village, similar to Liberty Square at the Magic Kingdom. Guests c...

  When guests enter the park, they are immersed in an American Midwestern town at the turn of the Twentieth Century. This is Main Street, the "opening credits" of the park, where names of people who helped make the resort are found in fictional businesses. This is inspired by Walt's hometown of Marceline, Missouri, which has inspired many other Main Streets in the parks. When guests go through the front gates, they see the Main Street station for the Dream Kingdom Railroad, which departs to Frontierland. Beneath that is the floral Mickey face while on both sides of it are tunnels with attraction posters inside them. On the other side is the Town Square. Here, guests see a park with a flagpole in the center. On the left, they get help at City Hall, pick up merchandise at the Chamber of Commerce, or sign up for Defenders of the Dream Kingdom at the Firehouse, which is like the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom in Disney World.   Done in classic Magic Kingdom style, this park is what most people think about when they think of the resort. It is based off of the original Disneyland park, even though it combines elements from parks around the world. Here are the seven areas of this park: Main Street, U.S.A.   " To all who come to this happy place, welcome....." These very words, spoken by Walt Disney during the opening of the Disneyland Resort in 1955, were the words that started a new age of theme parks. His vision was to create a place where families could make memories together and have fun, and this legacy has been continued in parks around the world. This resort, located in Southern Texas near San Antonio, continues that legacy. With 3 parks, a water park, and a shopping district, this is the place to be. These are the parks located in this resort: Dream Kingdom: A Magic Kingdom-style park Discovery Kingdom: A semi-educational park that is like a fusion of Disney's Animal Kingdom and Epcot Nautical Kingdom: A park similar to Tokyo Disneysea.
